These terms govern your use of silverpack.co.za and any order you place with us. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you agree to them.
Nothing in these terms takes away your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002. Where anything here conflicts with those Acts, the Acts win.

We are a packaging materials supplier serving both retail customers and businesses buying in volume. We do not have a walk-in shop; goods are delivered or collected by arrangement.
Placing an order
When you place an order on the website you are making us an offer to buy. A contract only comes into being once we confirm the order and accept your payment. Until then we may decline the order, for example if the stock has run out, the price or description was wrong, or we cannot deliver to your address.
If we cannot fulfil an order you have already paid for, we will contact you and refund you in full for whatever we cannot supply.
Prices and payment
- All prices are shown in South African Rand.
- The price shown on the product page is the price of the goods. Delivery, where it applies, is added separately.
- Prices can change at any time, but a change will never affect an order we have already accepted.
- Payment is by EFT (bank transfer) for now: we pack and deliver once your payment reflects. Card payments through PayFast will be added soon; when you pay by card, we never see or store your card details.
- Wholesale and bulk pricing is quoted separately and is not the price shown on the website.
We try hard to keep prices and stock accurate, but mistakes happen. If we spot an obvious pricing or description error on an order you have placed, we will contact you before processing it and you can confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund. We are not bound by an obvious error.
Product information
Photographs and dimensions on the site are there to show you what the product is. Packaging is a manufactured product and small variations in size, thickness, shade and print are normal between production runs. Where an exact specification matters to you, ask us before ordering and we will confirm it in writing.
If a product is out of stock we will not substitute something different without asking you first.
Delivery and collection
Where we deliver, how long it takes and what it costs are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms. Delivery times are estimates given in good faith, not guarantees.
Goods remain our property until they are paid for in full. Risk passes to you on delivery or collection.
Returns and refunds
Your right to return goods, and how refunds work, are set out in our Refund and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Wholesale, bulk and custom orders
- Volume orders are quoted individually. A quote is valid for the period stated on it, or 7 days if no period is stated.
- Custom work, including boxes cut, printed or made to your specification, is confirmed against a written specification or an approved sample. Once production has started, a custom order cannot be cancelled or returned unless the goods are faulty or do not match the agreed specification.
- Trade accounts and payment terms, where we offer them, are agreed in writing and are separate from these terms.
Using this website
You may use this site to browse our products and place orders. You may not use it to do anything unlawful, to interfere with how it works, or to copy our content for commercial use.
The SilverPack name, logo, product photographs and website content belong to Silverlight Business Services (Pty) Ltd. Please do not reuse them without our written permission.
We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or free of errors.
Our responsibility to you
If we supply goods that are faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we will replace them or refund you, as set out in our Refund and Returns Policy. That is our core obligation and we take it seriously.
Beyond that, our liability for any one order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost business or lost production time, arising from a late or faulty delivery.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Packaging must be used for the purpose it is sold for and stored properly. We are not responsible for loss caused by using a product outside its intended purpose, by poor storage, or by overloading.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the moment you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
Complaints and governing law
If something has gone wrong, tell us first. Message us on 074 490 2291 or email support@silverpack.co.za with your order number and we will do our best to sort it out.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction. As a consumer you also have the right to refer a complaint to the National Consumer Commission.
